Eagle Mountain, UT (March 11, 2025) – A young girl suffered serious injuries after falling from a second-story window in the Brylee Farms neighborhood of Eagle Mountain on Sunday.
According to Sgt. Ray Ormond of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, the 5-year-old was playing with friends when she accidentally fell onto the gravel below. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and assessed her injuries before deciding to airlift her to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
Officials reported that the girl sustained trauma to her head, leg, and hip. Sgt. Ormond explained that air transport was necessary due to the severity of her head injury, stating, “With pediatric patients and a substantial head injury, they’re typically flown due to the time it takes to transport them.” Despite the seriousness of her condition, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
