Iron County, UT (August 1, 2025) A hit-and-run crash with injuries occurred on Thursday evening, July 31, at approximately 7:00 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15 near milepost 71 in Iron County. One of the vehicles involved reportedly fled the scene before law enforcement could arrive.
Emergency crews responded quickly to assist victims at the site. At least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital for further medical attention. The condition of the injured individual has not yet been made public.
Officers from the Utah Highway Patrol arrived to secure the crash site and begin a full investigation. Authorities are currently searching for the vehicle that left the scene. Investigators are reviewing any available dashcam and traffic camera footage and asking the public to come forward with tips.
