Meet Kevin J. Sutterfield
In addition to trying dozens of jury trials and hundreds of arbitrations and mediations, and obtaining millions of dollars for his clients, Kevin has served his profession in other ways.
In 2005, the Utah Trial Lawyers Association awarded its Life Member status to Kevin for his outstanding service and contributions to that organization, one of only a few such awards given to its thousands of members the last 40 years.

In 1982, Mr. Sutterfield was admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts of Utah. Two years later, he was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals Tenth Circuit, as well.
Since that time, he has worked continuously as an active litigator, honing his skills as an attorney.
After spending several years as a partner of Howard, Lewis & Petersen, he decided to strike out on his own and became co-founder and President of Flickinger Sutterfield & Boulton in 1994.

He was also the chief editor and a contributing author of the Utah Trial Journal, the quarterly publication of the Utah Association for Justice, for several years.
