Draper, UT (August 4, 2025) A vehicle crash that resulted in injuries was reported Saturday afternoon, August 2, at approximately 4:44 p.m. The accident occurred near 13639 South 200 West in Draper, drawing a rapid response from emergency personnel.
According to initial reports, the crash involved at least two vehicles that collided near the intersection just south of the I-15 corridor. Paramedics arrived on the scene to assess injuries and provided emergency medical care to at least one injured party. That individual was later transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Their condition has not been made public at this time.
Officers with the Draper Police Department arrived shortly after to assist with traffic control and begin a formal investigation into the crash. Early assessments suggest that one vehicle may have failed to yield or misjudged the right of way during a turn. Investigators are reviewing statements from those involved and checking nearby surveillance footage as part of their ongoing analysis.
Traffic in the immediate area was disrupted for approximately 30 to 40 minutes as tow trucks cleared the damaged vehicles and crews addressed roadway hazards. Both vehicles sustained visible damage, and debris was scattered across the roadway, prompting temporary closures and lane restrictions.
No arrests or citations have been issued at this time, and the identities of the parties involved have not yet been released. We extend our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery to everyone affected by this collision.
