Car Accidents in Utah
Utah’s growing cities, including Lehi, have seen increased traffic congestion and rising accident rates in recent years. In 2023 alone, more than 26,000 people were injured in motor vehicle crashes across the state. These incidents range from minor collisions to serious multi-vehicle events that can cause long-term health issues.
If you’ve been hurt in a crash, here’s how an attorney can support you during this time:
- Conducting a Thorough Investigation: Your lawyer will gather crash reports, medical records, witness statements, and even surveillance footage if available. This helps establish liability and builds a stronger case to support your claim.
- Protecting You from Insurance Tactics: Insurance companies may try to reduce or deny your claim. A personal injury attorney knows how to handle adjusters, push back on lowball offers, and present a clear argument for fair compensation.
- Handling Legal Deadlines and Paperwork: There are strict timelines for filing personal injury claims in Utah. Your attorney will make sure all necessary forms are submitted on time and properly documented to avoid delays or dismissal.
- Helping You Understand Settlement Offers: Not every offer is fair. Your lawyer can review any proposed settlement and advise whether it fully covers your medical bills, lost income, and long-term needs.
- Taking Your Case to Trial if Needed: If a fair settlement can’t be reached, an experienced attorney will be prepared to go to court. Having representation from the start helps ensure your case is trial-ready if necessary.
