Car Accidents in Utah

Utah experiences thousands of motor vehicle crashes annually, with many leading to serious injuries. Factors such as driver distraction, speeding, and reckless driving contribute to the high accident rates. Victims of these incidents often suffer financial burdens alongside their physical injuries.
Some common causes of car accidents include:
- Driver Inattention – Looking away from the road, even for a second, can lead to serious collisions.
- Speeding – Exceeding the speed limit increases the risk of losing control and reduces stopping ability.
- Failure to Yield – Not yielding to the right-of-way at intersections often results in dangerous side-impact crashes.
- Drunk Driving – Impaired drivers have reduced reaction times and impaired judgment, making accidents more likely.
- Road Conditions – Potholes, slick roads, and debris contribute to loss of control and vehicle crashes.
