Salt Lake City, UT (August 28, 2025) – A vehicle overturned after a collision on Mountain View Corridor, near 13400 South, late Tuesday evening. The crash occurred around 10:04 p.m., when two vehicles collided, causing one of them to flip onto its side. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and provided medical care to those involved.
Initial reports suggest that one of the vehicles, a black sedan, was severely damaged after the collision, and the driver was assessed for injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, a white SUV, was also evaluated but appeared to be uninjured. Authorities are still investigating the exact cause of the crash, which is believed to have occurred after one vehicle lost control while changing lanes.
The road was partially blocked for about an hour while emergency crews cleared the wreckage and removed the overturned vehicle. The scene has since been cleared, and traffic has resumed as normal. The Salt Lake City Police Department is conducting the investigation into the crash. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
We hope that those involved in this crash make a full and swift recovery.
Car Accidents in Salt Lake City

Car accidents, particularly those involving rollover crashes, can be extremely dangerous. In a situation like the one on Mountain View Corridor, the force of the impact can cause a vehicle to flip, exposing the occupants to severe injury risks. Rollover crashes often result in traumatic injuries, including broken bones, head trauma, and spinal injuries, which may require extensive medical treatment and rehabilitation.
The risk of rollovers increases when a vehicle loses control, especially when drivers are navigating turns, merging lanes, or driving at high speeds. However, other factors such as driver distraction, weather conditions, or mechanical failure can also contribute to accidents like these.
After a rollover accident, it’s crucial to seek medical attention right away, even if injuries seem minor at first. Injuries such as whiplash or internal damage can take time to show symptoms but can be life-threatening if left untreated.
