Salt Lake City, UT (August 6, 2025) – A woman sustained injuries on Monday evening, August 5, after being struck by a vehicle near 400 Cactus Street in downtown Salt Lake City. The incident occurred at approximately 6:16 p.m. and prompted a rapid response from emergency personnel.
According to witness statements and preliminary reports, the woman was either walking or crossing near the roadway when a vehicle hit her under unclear circumstances. The collision caused visible injuries, and bystanders immediately contacted 911 for assistance.
First responders from Salt Lake City Fire and EMS arrived on the scene within minutes and rendered aid to the injured pedestrian.
